Locked behind difficulties
The fact that certain items can ONLY be farmed in normal difficulty proves to me there are characters and items in this game I will never unlock.

I find the grind tiresome as it is without playing on a setting so low I don't even need to think about what I'm doing..

If I wanted to do that, I'd go play Bunny XD

What items?

Let me guess.... Is it last dagger?

It's mostly just the resources for the last few characters I don't have, I have to go and break crates in normal difficulty areas and considering how much I need, it's going to take hours of mind numbing boringness.

As far as I know, other than some specific blueprints for some ultimate weapons and normal descendants like last dagger, Blair, Keelan and sheepdog, etc. there is not a single material that you cannot farm on hard difficulty and in the case of Keelan and the dog its not that different for Ines and the other dog which take more or less the same amount of time to farm in hard difficulty.

Maybe if you tell us which material you are trying to farm we can tell you where to farm it in hard difficulty. This is assuming its not a material for Keelan, hagios sheepdog, last dagger, etc.

Um. . . . hard mode crates also contain the same resources and in higher quantities.

This is also true for resource vaults. HM vaults have more resources.
You must be new to grinding games because you're either paying with time aka grinding or you pay with money and if it's materials then you'll have no choice but to grind for them or quit playing the game outright as it seems to be getting to you.

I get you, but, there being certain item only in normal is to give players a clear progression into more difficult content.

The problem is more with game design and uneven lopsided progression. The most efficient way to level a new Descendant is to have a built Descendant (the paradox) or have a built friend carry you. Some drops exclusive to Normal maps suggest we are meant to get those drops while we were still in Normal maps, but it is faster to grind in Hard maps. So having to go back to Normal with built Descendants and suffer the reduced drop rates, is frankly a jarring transition.

This can be fixed if Nexxon allows those same mats to also drop from Hard content, much as how they are gradually changing some maps to allow drops that previously only dropped from Intercepts.

I have every weapon and frame currently available, only thing that still needs its ability maxed is Frost Watcher. Download a movie, anime, tv show, etc and grind it out on Bunny. It's what I do.

Currently under maintenance so can't get current
log but should give the idea. https://puu.sh/KxIVQ/1ed01b5d22.png

Just like Warframe, this game is nothing but grinding and formaing to grind some more.

Well I never, fanning self with tiny paper fan listening to a tiny violin being played.

Guess need more pay options in cash shop, bypass freaking everything. Pity system, freebie descendant and weapon boxes are not enough. Must be freaking now. lol.

There are a few "beginner" ultimate weapons that are only available in normal missions as a 20% chance reward.
If you don't have luck getting these, you can buy weapon chests from the events and pick that weapon.
Complain about such small things. Back in my day when we had to walk to school though snow uphill people never complained about small things.
