Graphics artifacts with hair and character after update nVidia
The character hair looks pixelated and flickery after the update, there are also slight streaking as you pan the camera and generally character looks a little blurry/soft.

This effect doesnt improve if DLSS is disabled, in fact if you turn off all of the nvidia tech liek raytracing, frame gen, toggle everythign off and the issue still there.

I updated the drivers to latest, I went back to the driver from 6 months ago, nothing helps.

I play on 5090 with Cenematic graphics setting on 4k, graphics look much worse after the update.

+1 similar problem here, but it's been like that for a while.
Someone said to disable TAA in the ini file, that supposedly fixed it for some folks. Sadly didn't work for me. I'm about to reinstall the whole game... Hope that works out..

Whats MFG?
frame generation or fake frames
If I ever choose to waste 3k Euros on a gpu I wouldn't want to play games with fake frames turned on

A developer explained why the hair looks bad in TFD. It has sth. to do with the Alpha map and how it is used. So you can try to fix it, but it can still appear no matter what you try out.

I did say that even with frame gen off (fake frames) the problem persists. The problem especially with hair looking pixelated is there no matter what setting I use, cinematic or low with everything disabled.

This only happened after this update I had 0 issues before.

I didnt turn it off in the app no. I do no its not on since FPS drops to 40 when disabled in game settings. FPS goes to 80 if frame gen is enabled.

I honestly don't know what they did in this patch but with identical setting I had 0 problems with FPS or graphical artifacts. Now on top of the issues with hair and haloing/smudging I get a lot of frame drops in dungeons =/

Its a lumen problem turn global illumination to low and the problem disappears. They need to implement their ssgi solution because lumen is hot garbage
