Nell will be the best about the whole Season
Demo was not looking good so far, sadly. Nell is the only good thing so far. Change my mind.

But the new area looks like a massive empty muddy desert which is lacklustre and boring. The new mini boss enemies were better I thought, and the Wall crasher looks huge and could be a good fight, we will have to see. The hover bike was alright too, nothing groundbreaking but still something new to play with is welcomed.

you can very easily go to world of warcraft or gw2 and use mounts (aka bikes) and get harassed by 235 random mobs, get dismounted and unable to get back on mount becaues of "incombat".

also its a demo.
you are not supposed to see the whole map with all of its mobs.
you are supposed to see a bit of nell skills
and a bit of bike
and a bit of new colossus.
a bit
means a bit.
thats what demo means.

feel free to go to an mmorpg and pay 200 euros in 6 expansions to get the demo you desire.
first descendant is 100% free gameplay.

I agree with you, I thought Nell was the best part of the demo.

As an aside, I hope we can play as Nell in her dress uniform:

and we need the short hair option
do you live under a rock?
the first descendant developers did a FIVE hour presentation LIVE showing all future content
INCLUDING nell in UNIFORM and her short hair as a skin set

one MILLION viewers total
20.000 viewers at the same time during live stream

Sorry I didn't have time to watch a 5 hour live stream. It's summer and I have a life.

I played the demo as well.

Just wondered to see the split skull chickens (similar to Stellar Blade Naytibas). Is this already part of the planned joint venture?

And yes, the area is empty. This is not how games should work. Hope the devs create some flora and fauna aspects and dynamic weather etc.
yes obviously is empty and yes its nice to have enviroment decor
plants, mobs, weather, etc
but remember everybody this is an online multiplayer game
not offline singleplayer

overstacking , overstuffing is the main cause of lags and server instability

the first descendant is using unreal engine 5, the most updated advanced game engine
its not world of warcraft / gw2 with ps2 ps3 graphics engine

and the main way to get paid is by selling top quality skins
they get money by skins. not by expansions

wow and gw2 get paid by selling expansions
this is why wow and gw2 skins are all garbo and all maps are overstuffed with ps2 ps3 decor

they sell maps. they have to make their maps look overstuffed full
to convince customers they get value of their money

first descendant sells skins. they get 0 money from any maps or gameplay content.
they have to make their skins look top quality
to convince customers they get value of their money

wow ff14 and gw2 use old gfx so they can hold 80 players in one map
if first descendant puts 80 players with unreal engine 5 and 300 decor plants and animals
the whole game will crash

Really not sure if you know the power of UE5 (specifically considering features like Nanites). We speak about millions of low complexity objects and thousands complex objects/high polygon objects which can be managed without problems, so this is barely the reason for low complexity maps in TFD
