When every activity has been nerfed to be easier and simpler, when farming has been significantly reduced by giving out so many free rewards through events and special vendors, all that is left are time sinks

If its taking you more than ~12 hours of gameplay to fully upgrade a new descendant with 10 catalyst, energy activator and arch tunning lvl 40 then you are doing it wrong.

I dont know what youve been doing but at over 400hrs you should be grinding for weapon cores while catalysts are just side thing that don't really require much time to grind and we also keep getting free ones

What does that mean? Of course you can play with EVERY Descendant with only 1 catalyst, but for the "full" build you will need 10, as I already wrote that. Also... do you really think that Descendants have only 1 viable build? You need sometimes 3 or even 4 catalysts on single spot. So no... you wont waste any catalysts.
Looks like you have basically zero knowledge about the game. 16 years old Steam account so you are at least 30 years old and you cant go on youtube and watch some tutorials about the game instead of complaining here? Or I guessed correctly with those Jester Awards?

Oh I'm not sure about some of the numbers I'm seeing mentioned here. I pop the boosters (they stack btw) and I level them 1-40 in something like 8-10minutes in the special ops. I think you guys are playing the game wrong - same for weapons. And it's a great Gold farm on the side.

Arche can take a few days but just play the daily two missions, those help a bunch. Otherwise you should spam-farm Sigma anyways, it's a great reactor farm, it's great for cores, a bit of gold on the side, XP, Arche,... It's pretty much *the* content to play the most right now. Then you'll see that you get the arche from 1-40 very quickly, within the hour if you're fast.

Its 10 days at most and the main point is not about how boring it is for you but how long it should take to efficiently level a descendant/weapon.

If you find the grinding on this game boring then you should consider looking for other games to play, preferably not another looter shooter since all games of this type are about grinding the same content over and over again.

10 cata???? bwahahaha , some of my weapons are like 13 and descendants 15

I am pretty sure there are some ppl here with over 20 on one descendant .

Leveling and Catalyst farming is not an issue . The biggest problem is you can build one cata every 8 hours , so you have to spend $ to speed up the process

But there are regular events that throws catalyst for you , so keep an eye out for those
