Pretty sure it's a you problem. Since the first Beta a few years ago I can count the number of crashes on my fingers. And I have been playing every available day.

Have you looked under Event Viewer to see what the issue is, it'll most likely point to what's causing your issue. Look there and report back.

Probably something wrong with your PC somewhere even my old PC with a 3090 and I9 ran this game fine and my new pc with a R9 99503xd and 5090 run this game perfectly fine with no crashes so far.

I upgraded my PC to a 9950X3D + 5090. I also experienced this issue leaving me frustrated.

How I fixed this issue:
Graphics Settings:
Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduleing: On
Variable Refresh Rate: On
Graphics performance preference: M1-Win64-Shipping.exe (High Performance)

Nvidia Overlay: Off (This caused a lot of my freezing)
AMD Re-Bar/Arm-Bar (Bios): Off (This also caused some of my freezing since the game tried to use all of my CPU cores on launching the game)

MSConfig: Using all 32 Cores (Actually helped me here when launching the game)

edit: some odd reason, i think this game really hates Nvidia Overlay (from my perspective).

If you have previously used DLSS 4 and MFG via the driver and now that it is in the game, make sure that all settings are set to settings for 3D application and especially for DLSS and MFG, I tested it in my case one setting was still set to DLSS 4 and then I always have crash

I had the exact same issue today.

I have had these happen in the past 2 months as well some times.

Today the game launched and went to black screen and then you could hear the music.
But game was unresponsive.

Then eventually in under a minute the entire pc froze/

I did some digging and it turns out that it is related to EasyAntiCheat.

This is the only game this happens to.

I'm going to create a post as well to highlight this so the devs actually hear this.
If they already know then what tf are they doing?

Glad you posted what the Event Viewer said, it's clear that Anti-Cheat is causing problems for as good chunk of players so they'll need to look into what's causing it and either remove it or update it so it doesn't cause any more problems.

Is your Windows fully up to date? That error is a conflict with a Windows 11 feature and there was a patch released in one of the updates addressing it a while back.

Do not install the NVDIA driver 580.88, which currently leads to constant crashes. With the old 577.00 driver the game runs without problems for me

that and intel 13th and 14th gen cpus

I have Red Dead Redemption 2, Horizon Forbidden West, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and many other triple A games with much more demanding graphics.

uh neither RDR2 nor Shadow of the tomb raider are more demanding...
they are several years older and dont have rt reflections

I have no issues running the game with the newest drivers not a single crash or stutter, and I even have filters enabled.

EDit:
I do wanna point out that after each update the game rebuilds shaders. If yours has not done that then that might be why you are crashing.

BypassIO is a feature (regarding how I/O stack and bypassing it is managed).
Seems it causes errors on your system.

the current status

Result: BipassIo is currently supported

New nvidia driver caused crashes for me. Downloaded new driver today and constant crashes. Reverted to previous driver and haven't crashed once.
