PC freezes when I open the task manager while the game is up?
Hello,
sometimes the game crashes, doesn't connect or doesn't close correctly and when I open the task manager I get a beep sound and my PC just freezes, especially on startups.
There is a reddit thread for that kind of problem.

yeah, that happens to me, I call it a hard lock-up.
No fixes, but earlier versions ran fine, it's just in recent updates have done this.
What usually happens, is you get to splash screen, either it refuses to connect or I lose the mouse cursor. Then I can't Task Manager, and have to hard power down.

So, I suspect it is bad netcode, as it's not even in the game for graphics.
Some have suggested Nvdia Express drivers are not updating audio drivers. I dunno.

I think its an issue with graphics drivers and the ingame graphical oberlaxs the game is using. After every update the game behaves strange or different while tabing out of it.

Happens to me, its an Easy Anti Cheat issue with this game only.

No other game has this issue with EAC.

This has been happening with TFD quite often for the past 3 months and the devs don't give a crap.

This will damage your computer if it keeps happening.

I tried to do a restart when the game wasn't responding instead of using the task manager. It didn't let me, didn't work.
The only thing that works is a hard reset.
