Any benefit to saving levels?
In KotOR 1 it was generally accepted that saving levels for when you attained your Jedi rank was a good idea for more Force powers.

Does the same hold true in 2 for when you get your advanced Jedi rank or is it not as impactful?

I dislike holding off leveling but if there's a benefit to doing so I will. Thanks in advance.

Perhaps on your companions, if you plan to train them into Jedi.

For the main character it depends on what build you plan to go for. Sometimes you need the extra feats that a few levels into knight can give you. Sometimes you plan to go full sith lord/jedi master from a consular start and can sandbag levels to max out your prestige class.

Tactically speaking levelling up also fully heals you, so it's a debate of "can I use this to abuse a mid combat heal" vs "if I had these levels I would be strong enough to not need cheese."

Only does well for companions, so you can give them more force powers. Some people would say that you shouldnt do it for Atton for the sneak attack feats, but its really up to you. As for your MC, you should actually try to rush your MC to level 15, so you can get the prestige class.
