[POSSIBLE FIX | Controller] - Control dead after combat
I use a controller. Yes, on PC. Because I started out on the original NES, it just feels better to me.

And I say possible, because I tried everything that has been mentioned. Changing refresh to 60hz, etc

What I did was change the refresh rate via the Windows control panel to 60hz (I have a 160hz monitor), and then change the resolution and refresh rate *in the game* to 720p @ 60hz, and it seems to have solved the issue for me (normally I use 1080p).
