Thief catching quest

There is no clear way to continue the questline for me. I am using the restored content mod and even after confirming with both the trapped salvager and the padawan inside the jedi ruins I get no update on the journal and no option to talk to suulru about it. Is this a known bug? I killed the salvager in the dungeon to get his stuff but not before asking him about the thief, same for the padawan. I have also confirmed that both the mod and my base game are in english. Does anyone know how to proceed in this questline so I can actually complete it?

With TSLRCM Sulruu is no longer the target for that quest.

I see, so who am I supposed to talk to about the padawan in the sublevel. Im kinda lost hehe.

Yea. Daarala just sells me items, Ralon calls me a meanie, Taepalae talks about Jerron and all the other salvages say the same thing about coming back alive. No other options it seems.

Sorry, but I think i found the main issue.

If you follow a certain dialogue branch while speaking with the padawan she will leave and the journal will never update or otherwise acknowledge you found the thief, rendering the quest unbeatable. I think it is the dark side one where you talk to her about anger and convince her to follow that path, or at least thats what happened to me.

I retried the encounter rn with different choices and it turned fine.

I tried again just to be thorough and to see if I did miss anything like a dumbass and there is effectively a way to softlock your quest.
If you choose the dialogue tree that goes like "You have power child..."> "anger is good...">"you have to embrace your power..." then she will be gone and your journal will not update.
