Does playing at over 60 fps cause the player to stop moving?
I would like to play at my monitor's refresh rate at 170 fps but I've noticed after fights that I cannot move characters anymore without reloading the game. Because of this I've kept the game's setting at 60 fps.

Does this happen with anyone else?

Yeah it's a known bug in the engine. Other than save/loading or setting your monitor to 60hz, there is no other solution, sadly.

Do you know how to change your monitors Refresh Rate? It's pretty simple. Just Right click somewhere on your desktop--not on any icons or taskbar--then choose "Advanced Display Settings." Scroll down a bit and you see a box under "Refresh Rate" where you can choose from the drop down arrow a different refresh rate. What options you have there will be different depending on the monitor. Choose anything under 90 (supposedly) and you should be good to go for this game.

Now, I know people love their extreme high numbers in everything 'performance' related. But, truth be told, MOST people can NOT see any difference in graphics between a monitor running the standard 60 MHz and anything higher. However, I'll admit some people can see (slight) improvement in FPS (First Person Shooter) games when playing Multi-Player... perhaps slightly improved response times. We're talking pretty slight difference. Aside from those fast action button masher games, you wouldn't see any improvements with high refresh rate monitors. Theoretically, the human eye can't really see a difference above 30 Frames Per Second but, tons of people swear they can. And, as far as gaming goes, I'm betting a lot of people CAN tell a difference in graphic performance between refresh rate of 30 and 60. From 60 and above? Not many people can see any. But, it's your PC so, run it how you like. I just know there are less graphic anomalies when running monitors at 60 MHz compared to higher... with many games (not all.)

The original (i.e., legacypc) version supports up to 85 Hz refresh rate, and I have not encountered the bug on the updated version at 85 Hz, only above that (e.g., 120 Hz, 144 Hz). Enabling V-Sync might also work for you.
