Was entering my room during the Harbinger sequence. All the NPC dialogue just wouldn't play - it skip straight to my choices.

This has been an issue that seems to always happen when I play the game. I've never really looked into finding a fix if there is one as to be honest I've kindof just accepted that I need to turn off the game, reload my nearest save and then continue on as that usually stops it happening - for a few hours and then it'll probably happen again so rinse and repeat the fix.

But I do wonder what triggers it. Thoughts?
