Knights of the Old Republic II is seriously bugged. I thought just a minor technical hitch was bad but now I've discovered there's so much wrong with it.

Firstly, there's the matter of the workbench not- wait for it- working. I can look up how to create and break down items and I can actually upgrade them, but whenever I try to actually create or break down items the interface just decides to hide itself.

Secondly, it's impossible to enter the cantina on Onderon. When I try to go in, the game sends me back to the main menu and is completely non-responsive until I try to close the application. I've looked on forums for other players experiencing this to see whether there's a solution and ran the game on the lowest settings without grass or shadows and yet this problem persists.

My laptop specifications:
OS- Windows 10
Processor- Intel i5-7200U @2.50 GHz
RAM- 4GB

Additional- Playing with Restored Content Mod installed. Workbench glitch did not occur prior to installation, but never made it far enough into the game without RCM to find out if the cantina glitch occured without it.
