Just so it's clear to anyone reading, this linked project is not the main game continuation.

A few people who were removed from the main project for constantly causing problems have made a copy of our work, vaguely poked at a few very minor things, and decided to try to advertise. While they're welcome to work on their own version, they seem to be greatly overselling themselves and not mentioning that most of the work in it isn't their own.

for context, i founded the CCCP, the "main continuation", me alone. gacyr was some guy who came up, who i trusted, and who then lied to me about the split "serious dev only, no community" server, leeched off of mine for those 2000 people, then declared himself dictator and cut off all ties.

he did it because i didn't like kiddie gr00mers that he had befriended.

many can attest to his server now being a hellhole, lots of weird, diseased people teaching kids bad, bad stuff. they also removed a whole sound overhaul out of spite and threw out the best modder because he didn't like how they did me dirty, and now ban a lot of people daily and rarely encourage them to mod or work on the game or better themselves.

gacyr i was there from day 0, i witnessed both the rise and fall of CCC and CCCP, even tho i had a break from cortex command as a whole for a good few years, you cant justify your actions with somebody "causing problems"

Whats the difference between the community project and the continued version?

Pawnis (Hoovytaurus), you quite literally didn't found the CCCP, and it's kinda scary that you've deluded yourself into thinking that. You're memoryholing/gaslighting yourself and it's real ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.

You made the discord server that CCCP started in, but from literally the very beginning of the project, I've been its lead. I did the organizing, the planning, setting up repos, team management, releases, and a ton of work on the source code (and a fair deal on the data), etc. You worked hard on sounds and did a bit of work on the data, and ran the CCC server (until you didn't). These are not the same thing.

As for the rest of the lies, you say I removed "a whole sound overhaul" but you're the one who wanted your sounds removed. I can dig through pms and find the bit where you said that you wanted them removed for pre4 and back for pre5 so people knew what they were missing without you.
As for fil, I'm pretty sure he left of his own accord when you were kicked out. He was able to rejoin the CCCP server when you guys decided to act like children and raid it, which means he'd not been banned from it before.

The rest of your ♥♥♥♥ isn't really worth talking about, nobody in the CCCP server is trying to indoctrinate kids (or adults), cause that's weird and gross. I wish I could say the same of your lot.

The continued version is a fork of the community project with a few small changes, and pawnis' sounds put back in.
They're absolutely welcome to make their own fork and do their own thing, but they're not welcome to act like all of our work is theirs, as they seem to be trying to do.

i tried both versions and C4 is better so play that one cuz u cant even move with the jetpacks on cccp lol

People fleeing to us, saying how bad the gr00mer circlejerk is, is a solid confirmation of the aforementioned post, if that does not convince you, we provide almost 24/7 help for new modders! we are even working on modding series. As "accepting" and fetish positive cccp community is, we didn't really have any cases of people being muted from modding channels for talking about... modding...

In it's short time of being around C4 has made alot of great QOL changes and reverted dumbass changes like the Jetpack nerf. Also like Fil said it's a much better place for modders and even Fil and Pawn alone are working on much better mods then I've seen come out of CCCP as of recent. Also they won't morb you for talking about the most movie ever made 🧛‍♂️

fil and pawnis moved on, now theyre making cortex command better than whichever direction youre guiding it through, and theyre even making a game on the side, theres determined people looking and working towards these projects
