Does the guy even have any rights to publish not just the original B23 version of game, whose unlike Community Project's used final Cortex Command engine version was never released under open source license, but also put a price tag onto a huge trove of mods without the authors permissions?!

Its considered a mod so it should be okay, And its free he is just asking for donations for extra developing

Link? Everything i see he does "name your price" which can be 0. The expansion will only be worked on if he gets donations which is normal for modders to do.

You cannot download the version with mods saved unless you donate at least 5 bucks. Ergo, other people's mods are pricetagged.

The super remixed version is compatible with all the mods by default, The "5 bucks edition" is just him compiling it for you, if you wanna pay for it thats on you. The only mods you cant get that are exclusive to his 5 dollar edition is his mods anyway so he can do what he wants with them. Wabbajack does the same for Elder Scrolls games, Its all compiled for you and it requires a Nexus premium account(otherwise its very inconvient) and is it up to the modpacks author whether they charge or not. Youre paying for convenience in both cases, Otherwise just do it yourself for free only thing youre missing is his 2 mods he made

Data Realms forums is full of dead links of content, especially for decade and a half old builds, yet here he is pretending all he is offering can be found anyways. That's not true. Ergo he is paywalling content.

Not to mentioned I downloaded the game, tried it, and he is straight up offering a non-open source generic B23 build, something that never fell under open license of any sort unlike Community Project version, so he has no rights to redistribute it.
