But seriously, google cortex command community project. This is a more or less live community for this game that even periodically releases updates.

Buy more units, if you can't because you lack funds then mine for gold. If the enemies are spawning from clone vats destroy those and if they're coming down in dropships maybe equip your units with rocket launchers or buy one of those turret AIs that have anti-air.

You don't play as the brain you spawn as. You hide that. Dig gold.

You'll be fine. Do the tutorial or get mods.
