the controls take some time to get used to them but later when you understand most mechanics it gets better. First yes you have no cursor but when you stand still for a second you see a dotted line thats where you are aiming and after some time you get it down. To the AI sometimes being a bit unfair yeah it happends but thats the reason to dont use 1 soldier bulk your guys to a big group so anyone can try to shot an enemy it realy increases the chance of killing an enemy before he can even do a thing. Also to realy jiggle around with the controls i prefer to do the Controlchip hunt on Zombie Cave there you have weak enemys that have no guns so you can train with aiming and get used to th different types of guns you have at your disposal.And last but not least never let your brain stand above the ground always dig a small hole or tunnel down and hide it in there (best idea is to also get a concrete gun to close the hole behind your brain) and maybe even guard it with one heavy guy that has a gatling or any kind of strong weapon for corridors (Gatlings, Shotguns and Flamethrowers get the job done)

Of course i found that you can have some aiming dots, but it takes too long for them to appear, plus a pixel in the line will instantly backtrack the aim. Having a lot of guys was solution discovered by me just in trying to get lot of soldiers to use. Game does not even states that your soldiers have AI. I now tried campain and dont understood how it is related to tutorial, as i just won by planting a brain.

You SHOULD be getting 250+, what specs do you have? 60 is choppy, tell me your FPS on the Tutorial Mission.

It is impossible to have more than 60 FPS on screen not due to the fact that screen refresh rate is 60 Hz. Turning vsync off may speed up CPU computations but graphics will worsen. And that was on tutor mission with tons of dummies spawned (or not, FPS does not matter as it is limited to 60)

Pretty sure FPS in this game is capped at 30?

If you play either benchmark test you can see that's as high as it even bothers tracking.

I think the ideas behind the game are great, but the horrible controls the game has completely kills it for me. I have really, really tried to like it, but it feels like you as a player are also fighting against the game itself, as well as the enemies, but the worst thing is that it's a losing battle for you.

I'd say the game is completely not worth it. I don't know where I got it from, some giveaway, because I never bought it.
