So, 1,000 now? Still about 2.5x as expensive as previously, but when weighted against the fact that not all attachments are useful for all weapons (low-damage mods for sniper rifles, sniper scopes for shotguns, etc), this would more or less mean we're back to the old model in terms of price/utility ratios. A proper response to a major issue, in my opinion. If anything, Steam has proven that it's much more profitable to sell lots of things for cheap, than a few expensively. Games aren't luxury goods anymore, after all.

Now just give us chat and maybe some kind of gifting system.

While I'm glad that this happened before I purchased too many parts and after only one week. I'm not sure why this hasn't happened sooner.

And this most likely "hasn't happened sooner" because the developers have been swamped with working on the backend, getting servers up and running, chasing down detrimental bugs and getting the next patch ready to be released next week. There's been A LOT to do for a small team of developers.

this has me thinking of a way to stop people like me getting bitter over having to be a certain level to buy things with GP: remove the lvl requirement, but scale the price based on level.

for example, perming a lvl 50 receiver costs 20k at lvl 1, 10k at lvl 25, and 5k at lvl 50.

and scale the zen prices slightly, too. muahahaha

I won't complain about not being able to buy zen using steam wallet because I'm sure you guys are working on that. and you're definitely working on getting the rest of the helmets back into the shop, etc. I've seen em ingame.

edit: dammit it was an IR scope I'm looking at. ah well, least the double GP will essentially half the price.

Okay, GP is doubling on the backend but it looks like the client is not updating properly. Looking into it, may have more information during the live stream tomorrow. GP should still be doubling though.

You should really pin this thread, also make an announcement on steam because some people do not now if this game is updated yet.

this is big news, will spread fast.

am I right in thinking that parity update brought more players? this little update will help retain them.

Add to that and make GP purchasable with zen and cosmetic rewards for certain amounts of zen purchased.

Well honestly you guys did take a perfectly fine version of the game deleted it and gave us a broken unbalanced mess in it's place. Expect people to be mad at whatever moves you make until you make things right. Cutting the pain in half is still BS when there shouldn't be pain in the first place.

And don't take this too wrong you guys are making some good moves but it's not making up for the gigantic initial mistake you made with the parity patch. A lot needs to be done before amends would be made.

Yeah, it's not all about the recoil or GP prices... This right here is like a slap in the face, although I probably deserve one. There are others who made this purchase too:

The Volk34 is equipped but I have the Rocket League helmet selected to show stat comparison and there are no changes.

Even though I'd rather any and all possible P2W factors removed from the game, I'd still like an option of refund or item trade off or something.

I'm in the "good things come to those who wait" camp.

I hope that the PC version will be more than equal to PS4. what we currently have is gimped, and some other people might not have faith that the game will be updated back up to thier expectations.
