So you changed the FOV, right? You also need to change viewmodel_fov and fov to the same number. You can also do a trick of binding your w key to something like "bind w "+forward;fov X;viewmodel_fov x". That way you won't need to type anything in console.
The FOV also resets after the 1st chapter, you have to use bow weapon and zoom in with it (R by default), no need to level up anything though.

I think I changed that but I'll double check. Maybe there's a typo in cfg or something. I'll check it out. Thank you.

Also, if you are using any mods and custom configs, you can post them here if you don't mind. There might be something wrong with them too.
And be sure to use the Mod Launcher if you have any other issues with the game, such as crashing and such:
