Dark Messiah of Might & Magic Single Player

Leanna
Really, escorting is horrible. I just want to have fun, but she gets smacked around. I know it is year 2006 and that escorts and companions are all the rage, bee's knees, literally, but come on!

This is horrible.

You can make her stop following you by pressing the use key. This is said in the game.

Even then, enemies sometimes find her and smack her. And there are some sections where she must follow you around.

Couldn't they just make her invincible? What would be the downside to that?

Not a single level requires her to participate in any battle. Just leave her somewhere safe and do the work yourself if you want to.

That would break the game. Leanna can heal you from a decent range for 60 health instantly. She can use the freeze spell too while also drawing enemies' attention with the fire arrows. If she was made invincible, then she could simply clear any area without your input.

Leanna isn't actually that bad, you just need to adjust your gameplay a little bit. For example, you can be quite aggresive with your melee build, since she can heal you free, even during the combat. You can also throw oil jars at the enemies, then she will kill them with a single fire arrow.

I can't use her at all. Because I am using a Stealth Daggers build. I mean, she is just a story character, if she used nothing and just moved story forward, I would 100% be ok with that.

That's understandable. Yes, in that case it's better to leave her somewhere safe, way easier for a stealth character.

You could lure Leanna to the boat. I guess one of the orcs on the right side of the temple arena saw her while going after you, etc. Not a big deal.
