Even then, enemies sometimes find her and smack her. And there are some sections where she must follow you around.
Couldn't they just make her invincible? What would be the downside to that?
That would break the game. Leanna can heal you from a decent range for 60 health instantly. She can use the freeze spell too while also drawing enemies' attention with the fire arrows. If she was made invincible, then she could simply clear any area without your input.
Leanna isn't actually that bad, you just need to adjust your gameplay a little bit. For example, you can be quite aggresive with your melee build, since she can heal you free, even during the combat. You can also throw oil jars at the enemies, then she will kill them with a single fire arrow.
I can't use her at all. Because I am using a Stealth Daggers build. I mean, she is just a story character, if she used nothing and just moved story forward, I would 100% be ok with that.
And then an Orc finds her. I had a game over and I was like wtf happened.
