What OS are you using?
Thank you for the idea of a fov option, seems like an important feature to include. Will also test an option to crop to 1:1 since yeah, the distortions are quite extreme at the edges of a 16:9 screen.
Re-bindable controls have also been completed for the next update :)
its default value is 0.05 which might already fix the drift for you, but if it doesn't you can set it higher or lower as needed. this will automatically save. sorry it took a while
for reference the console button is the backtick (`) key
1. it's not really 1st person, it's 3rd person over the shoulder. It needs to be from the perspective of the eyes to be considered 1st person
2. camera is unlocked meaning rotations and being upside down are meaningless, please consider a locked camera option
3. camera is always facing forward, it should automatically look in the direction of your momentum in 1st person so you can see where you are falling
3. controls are from pre-ps1 era skate games, thumbstick controls from skate 3 or session would be preferred
4. easy spawning/teleport is necessary b/c falling into weird places is a pita
5. gravity is too low, once you get speed it's like you're flying off the planet
6. sliding is both too easy and not obvious enough, feels like you're ice skating above a certain speed and you can't see the board much to know it's happening
It's still a chill game and a good idea but i'm having a hard time enjoying it for what you claim it is.
I tested it on SteamDeck and Ubuntu 20.04 Desktop.
This is not that urgent, as it's a rather rare crash. I just wanted to document it.
thanks, always looking for these to improve my physics engine. found the problem; there is triangles with zero area on that ramp causing NaN errors. that was already checked for by spheres but not for capsules. I added that check there too. cheers :)
