First patch made the handling of some cars significantly better
I wasn't expecting this one, but with day 1 tweaks the gameplay went from "intolerable" to "completely acceptable".

The General car, for example, was just undriveable, but now it's much more consistent and you can start driving aggressively without anything unpredictable happening. I haven't tested the Formula which was the worst of all, but even if it's still broken, if the General is more or less fixed, then nothing prevents the Formula from being too.

I haven't tested the AIs because my initial concern is pure gameplay, but with this patch so quickly I'm back to being optimistic about the game.

I still don't think it's even close to GeneRally 1, however, in my opinion that game is at the top of arcade racers of this style, there's something about that good old gameplay that is pure satisfaction. But if the improvements continue then at least we'll have a fun game on our hands.

For anyone thinking of giving a negative review (which the game honestly deserved), I suggest waiting a little longer, let's give the devs some time.
