I looked at controller support and couldn't come up with a better solution than the one built into steam. I'm not sure where the option is but I believe all mouse & keyboard games can be played with controller.

The steam built in one hasn't done me to bad yet. Also worst case senario you could use DS4 windows it's a controller emulator to make your PC think it's an Xbox controller

not all mouse and keyboard games can be played with a controller until controller support is added, i bought solace crafting knowing it is going to get a controller support update soon but until it dose you can only walk around in game using a controller nothing else. Mango were do i get the ds4 emulator and is it safe to download ??

Yeah I use it when steam is acting up with the controller or when the game doesn't register the steam one properly, it is completely safe! I am not sure if I can post links but Google Ds4-windows and it should be a dot com website like ds4-windows(dot)com is the actual link. Pretty sure it has a setup too so it is easy install, then you just connect your controller with bluetooth or USB
