Best start for newbie who doesn't know rules of amercian football?
So I tried the game once and was burden under the bunch of rules. Same thing happened to me in Mutant League Football on a Sega Genesis - comparing to Mutant League Hockey which I liked very much (probably one of my favorite... let's say sports game) in Mutant League Football I just didn't understand what I must do. I wonder should I learn rules of football first and only then try Blood Bowl? Is Eyeshield 21 a good start point in this case?

You can't compare with these kind of game. It's not at all an arcade game, it's a pure strategy game, you'll need to evaluate, calculate every moves.

This version of BloodBowl is my favorite.

You don't need to know the American Football rules to play it.

The main idea is to get the "Football" to the end of the Pitch/Field.

You can throw it to a teammate or just run it after you picked it up.

Beyond that, not many "Rules" you need to know about American Football.
