Yes, the gamepad support for this game is quite laughable.
lol you misinterpreted that. hes laughing at the fact ppl use controllers for a real fps like this

and that's exactly why I said " If you were going to half-♥♥♥ it devs, I'd rather you didn't implement it at all and I would have avoided this game"
Second of all, I think you're missing the point of my rant. I have played many, many games on Steam, including FPSes, that have "partial gamepad support" and a majority of them had perfectly acceptable gamepad controls. This game, however, does not. Period. They should not have included it AT ALL since it's so terrible. Plus, I'm warning others who primarily play with gamepads to maybe look for something else so they don't repeat my mistake.
One of the biggest reasons for PC gaming dominance back in the 90s was due to being able to use any perepheral you wanted. Remember flight sims? People used to play first person shooters with their joystick. I remember I bought my first flight stick entirely to play Grim Fandango on.
We use PCs and should be allowed to use any technology we want with them without being scrutinized as "dumbed down casuals" when it was the norm more then 10 years ago
