small fishing tank?

im confused as to how these work plz send hlp...

1)what food do i put in?

2)does it matter what types of fish go in with other fish? asking cuz ive noticed a breeding meeter and a hatching efficiency meeter?

I'm working on trying to figure this out right now. So far, here's what I know
The fish eggs you find on Level 7 can go into the tank. So can the fish that you find from fishing directly. The eggs have an hour timer. The fish have a 10ish minute timer. The timer is a countdown to breeding which adds another egg to the cage.

I got raw food to go into the food slot. More than one slot does not seem to have an effect. The type of food does not seem to have an effect. I have swamp fish swamp food to start with. Food appears to boost the breeding and hatching bars.

The decoration slot can be filled with raw minerals. These boost the oxygen, breeding, and hatching bars. Gold has a profound effect. Higher level ores seem to have bigger effects. You can manually click in 1 ore. You can shift click in 9999 ores. They appear to have the same effect.

The cleaning slots are output for tank "trash"

tyvm 4 this info ill have to try this out!! but what constitutes "fish food" as there is no label to item's
