Vulkan-related crashes or poor performance are very often tied to outdated or unstable drivers. It's worth updating yours; Vulkan support varies across hardware, which is exactly why DirectX is our default.
As for 100% GPU usage: that's normal. The game’s doing what it's supposed to do - using your GPU. It’s not a red flag unless you’re seeing thermal throttling or actual instability.
That said, there’s always room for improvement, and we’re actively working on performance across all setups. If issues persist after updating, drop your specs and we’ll take a look!
It's the most unoptimized game i seen period even somehow beats Arkham Knight release version, you got hell of a lot to fix
Specs:
CPU: i7-12700K (20 core) 3.6GHz
32GB RAM
GPU: RTX 3070 (8GB)
Game ran fine for me and your pc is way more powerful. Weird.
Unfortunately, with those specs, it really does seem like something's off on your end. We've had the game tested and played on much weaker machines without major issues - and as the poster above mentioned, it’s running fine for others too.
It’d be pretty unreasonable to assume a 3070 paired with a 12700K just can’t handle it. More likely it's something finicky in your setup (gotta love PCs for that huh): background processes, conflicting software (like overlays or capture tools), or even a bad driver install.
A few things you might want to try:
That's all I can think of at the moment. I understand how frustrating it can be, but it’s very unlikely this is a base-level performance issue with the game, especially given your setup.
You could stand to be a bit more humble since you already have a history of abandoning games and running off with the money.
No one’s being gaslit. I addressed the original post with respect and provided a list of common troubleshooting steps that could help resolve the issue. That’s not dismissal, that’s support.
Claiming the game's optimization is "a complete disaster" when it runs fine for many others with similar or much weaker setups is, by definition, sensationalist, and pointing that out isn’t some kind of personal attack.
As for the accusation about “abandoning games and running off with money” - that’s flat-out false and has no place in a technical discussion. If you have feedback to share, great. If you’re just here to stir the pot, then I'm afraid there won't be much of a conversation to be had.
His video card could be overheating.
Your game has an optimization issue and I'm honestly a bit disappointed by your response.
I've limited the FPS to 60 and once in the game, the temperature of the GPU starts climb.
Something is wrong, I've never seen this before.
Please do more tests and monitor the GPU temperature. This game has its potential and I don't want to see it gets review bombs once you fully release it and have a much larger player base.
Doesn't change the fact that 100% GPU usage is actually normal and games SHOULD do it. Low GPU usage can indicate a CPU bottleneck....
