If that's the case, it would be helpful, if the players who do encounter those bugs would have the ability to send you their savefiles. Because for me, they are happening over and over again. I want this game to be a stellar hit and I don't mind to help in any way possible.
And I noticed that like 1/5 of the 'positiv' reviews still have complaints about bugs/glitch and soft-lock problems in them so I'd assume, that there really is a problem.
The logs can be found in C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\LocalLow\Ancient Forge\Hotel Galactic Demo
Player.log and Player-prev.log
If you could send us those two files to support@ancientforgestudio.com, that'd be pretty informative.
With that said, I disagree with the the OP regarding their general premise that there is no reason for a positive review. It is important to keep in mind that the game is not even to an early access point, where bugs and incomplete features are still expected. At this point, reviews are focused more on what is seemingly complete (basic graphics approach, gameplay design, core mechanics, etc.) as well as concepts on display. At such an early stage, bugs absolutely shouldn't factor into a review score. On the other hand, personally, I think it's too early for a review but defend a player's choice to do so. I will wait until the demo is updated during the NextFest in June and see how that plays out. If the NextFest demo is still missing critical elements (like a save feature) then, I suspect the reviews will begin to reflect that as, I suspect, those who check out demos from the NextFest will be a bit more demanding than those who scour a Cozy & Family Friendly event.
