Demo Tips & Tricks
Hey there, travelers!

We’ve seen a lot of great questions and feedback from the demo, so here’s a quick list of handy tips to help make your stay at the hotel smoother (and keep you sane), especially while we’re still working on refining a bunch of key systems for Early Access.

These aren’t “perfect solutions,” but they’ll make things a lot more manageable in the current demo build.

:steamhappy: Tips & Tricks
:brownchicken: Worker Stuck?
Try dragging and dropping them somewhere else: it resets their pathfinding and *usually* gets them moving again.

:brownchicken: How Do I Get More Control Over the AI?
In the Worker Priority Table, you can set specific skills to “Skip”. This is super useful if you want to dedicate a worker to a particular job or avoid them running around doing a bit of everything. (More fine-grain control is coming!)

:brownchicken: Focus on One Thing at a Time
Trying to do everything at once might cause issues for your staff and your sanity when you try to control them with the current tools. Pick a single focus and tackle it before switching to the next.

:brownchicken: Adjust Graphics Settings from the Main Menu
Changing resolution or graphics from inside the game can be unstable. Best to go back to the main menu for those adjustments.

:brownchicken: Don’t Stress About Every Grape
There’s no need to micromanage every single piece of fruit, a few ingredients go a long way. In the full game, you’ll unlock backpacks and other gear to make hauling way more efficient.

:cozykcdaxe: What's Coming Soon?
Many of the things you’re bumping into (like laundry time, hauling limits, worker behavior, and control quirks) are already being reworked for Early Access. These fixes are coming alongside expanded content, new automation tools, smarter AI, and better controls (especially for Steam Deck).
