It started with just getting it to start was difficult. I had downloaded it started it up the launcher would pop up but the game wouldn't work beyond gathering data. I would let it run for a good 10 minutes. I tried several attempts. There was also a point it wanted to update up. I updated it and then it wanted to update again shortly after.
For a bit I thought it my be my laptop but comparing secs my laptop is middle of the road. Not higher end but should run the actual game fine. So I uninstalled the demo and re-downloaded it. This time it started up fine and let me start a game. I have a bit of stutter here and there which I am find with as long as it general runs smooth. (Consider this more of a possible problem with my laptop most cases.)
But then once I got to taking guest's orders for food and prioritizing tasks. I had two of the works building a bathroom on the top level of the hotel. They refused to go do anything else if I changed prioritizing and when I tried to move them to a different room one of them would drop to the floor and just stand there doing nothing. The other would usually be stuck in consent free fall. This is after I release the mouse button. I tried putting them back on and one of them did seem stuck on building it so it would keep building the bathroom. So I sped up time and just let it build the room which felt like it took a very long time for being on x2 time speed. But they did finish the room and proceeded to just stand there doing nothing.
I tried restarting the demo. Which first time restarting when I started the save file the whole thing crashed. Second time let me in. The save was loaded right before they finished the room and the bug was still there. I tried doing random stuff like assigning different tasks and moving them all over. I dropped on into the ground and they got stuck somewhere in the void so I can't click or interact with them. Decided that I was done.
So yeah that was my experience with this demo.
It looks beautiful and the vibes are amazing with a cute idea but my experience with this just really put me off.
