When was the space theme decided on?
Don't get me wrong, I like the treasure planet angle, but this is so obviously a Yokai/spirit hotel inspired by the spirited away bathouse, in both aesthetic and theming, that I would never in a million years guessed it was sci-fi based on gameplay. I'm curious when that angle was decided on, if during inception or later on to distinguish it more from it's influences.

It was a part of the initial idea for the game actually, but we never wanted to make it have a science-fiction vibe. It's set in space and not on planet Earth, but it is still a fantastical setting.
