No Auto-save or protection against losing your game?
I went to save my game and accidentally hit "close game" instead (I have hand issues) and it just closed the game. No "would you like to save" or "are you sure" just - closed.

So I lost several hours of work. I definitely don't feel like restarting right now, but the idea of having to do all that set-up again....just doesn't sound like fun.

This happened to me as well. Would love some improvements to the save feature.
First, I saw there was an option to change autosave frequency in the settings menu, so I thought "cool, it autosaves", but then it doesn't do that.
It's also good that we can choose to turn it off as well, because the one good thing about not having autosave at this point is that if I encounter something being a bug that doesn't fix itself, I can at least go back to a previous point before that so I can try to avoid it happening again.
But the autosave really should work as intended. I'm so paranoid about saving my game now, and creating lots of different saves as well, just so that I can try again if something goes wrong.
That happened to me as well. I hope that this will be fixed :) And also the game could ask do you want to save, if accidentally exiting the game.
Same here. and no option to skip cinematics. Also, as I am not a fan of the gibberish dialogue, I turned down the Dialogue volume but still no effect on it.
If it helps, I figured out that after you manually save for the first time, the autosave works. Not great, I agree, but I did figure that out after losing a few hours of work myself.

Thank you...that is really good to know. :)

You're very welcome! I hope it works for you like it did for me :)
