I can't play the demo because the texts are too small.
According to the inventors of writing's user manual, texts are intended to be read, not as some form of background noise.

Gamepad controls are horrendous.
Mouse controls are a thousand times more comfortable.
Unlike the 2 rookie mistakes above, gamepad controls aren't easy to design; hopefully you'll get detailed feedback to help you on the topic.

Were I able to read the tutorial, indicators, and other small characters, and were I able to read the legible characters without having to click on them every single time so that they would actually be on screen all at once, I would have tested the actual gameplay.
As it stands, it's am instant pass.

Has there been a resolution to the black screen issue, because I am having the same problem.

same thing here! uninstalled the game and tried again, still the same thing. except my screen is not just black, it's bringt pink for some reason??? really excited to play the demo when they fix it!

For some reason I can start the demo with both options and it works.

Welp, the most important part is that it works now
