Can’t use the menu?

Hi, I’ve made a recipe but it will not let me select it or add it to the menu through the menu interface. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, or if it’s a bug.

yeah im on steam deck and cant add any recipes to the menu... cant proceed with game

I can also not access the menu on steam deck! Neither for adding recipes to the menu or to decorate my rooms. It is really frustrating since I could decorate the rooms before yesterdays update, and now I basically am stuck and cannot do anything.
