When I unlocked the first piece of technology and placed the decorative rug it unlocked at my room's entrance, my employees started idling and stopped doing any work—though they still went to the bathroom. From that point on, I couldn't move any items in the game (the confirm button wouldn't work after moving things), and the game became lagging (GPU is 5070 Ti). At the same time, my ESC key stopped working, preventing me from saving or quitting the game. I was forced to force-quit, and once again, and I lost my progress/save file.
