I really see such potential in this game. Thanks for addressing bugs and your plans moving forward.

I dont believe you didnt know about all this critical bugs. It was in the demo a few months ago. You think "they will eat it and give us money", but we dont, lol.

I believe in you, as the spirit of the game itself is lovely. And thank you for admitting your mistakes, transparency helps to build trust. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see where the game goes from here.
Thank you for your commitment! I have full faith in your game 😊
well i am frustrated that you pushed it out well seeming to on some level know it wasn't ready. its good to see a commitment to fixing it.

the disadvantage is that while they are fixing the game, some of the players who followed the project will return the money, the other part, after seeing bad reviews, will not buy and will forget about it, as a result, both the developer and the developers will lose money and can... Although I want to believe that they will bring it to mind, as there are many interesting things, including VIP guests and many new types of buildings and decor.

Thank you for adressing the issues and for your commitment, I really look forward to see the game in it’s full glory as I’m sure it will be amazing! :)

This is a really good message, but I'm just afraid that the game might sink under a negative reviews before repairing is done

I decided to cave and buy this game again this morning. I was really excited for this game and was worried I may have been too hasty in refunding. The game worked great this morning. I had a lot of fun, I did have a bug that was causing an issue though. One of the pingtons messed up my game. They ordered a meal but before I could deliver it, they checked out. Only the meal request was still active but they were on the ship so I couldn't give them the meal and the ship couldn't leave. So I had to close the game a bit hoping a restart would fix it. I now can't load my game at all but at least its not freezing so guess there's that. I don't regret trying again though. It's clear the devs put a lot of work into this and it takes a lot to admit you were wrong and to prove to people that they are hard at work fixing it. Sure its not great and we have every right to be mad and upset about it. However, we should also acknowledge that they're owning up to it. A lot of devs wouldn't, some even blame it on the computers people have so they don't have to actually fix their problems that have gone on for years and had endless complaints about but not naming people there. Point is, game is amazing and the artwork is really something. As long as the devs remain honest and open and willing to work hard to keep this running, shouldn't we try to support that? They're not sidelining the issue or blaming the people who bought the games. They're owning the mess and giving honest communication about fixing things. Surely that has to mean something no matter how upset you are?

Thank you for this message, a clear example that you don't invalidate our feelings and take responsibility. I have faith in the game and in you guys, the team. I know it will take time, but for now, I'm staying and choosing to trust your judgment, especially because of the honesty presented in this announcement.

Some mechanics from the demo might look the same, but were completely reworked in the code: like cooking, AI behaviour etc. We reworked many systems last few months. We also moved to Unity 6 during that period from demo to EA launch, which also granted us opportunity to rewrite some mechanics.

We new about the preview build bugs massively occuring 10 days before the release, Some of the issues we knew about were addressed in the preview guidelines for the press a content creators, and we genuinly trusted in the evaluation of the time needed to fix them all. We didn't make them on time. One fix caused another bugs, and it was like snowball for us. It should not be released in that state, that I can confirm.
Thank you a lot for this update and adressing the issues right. We DO believe in this game and it will be so great! thank you for everything and i am looking forward to the changes and fixes <3

As a software dev (but not in gaming), I find it REALLY hard to believe that the actual software devs on this project didn't know about the major bugs (or don't have a feel for the general 'stability' of the current build of the game) in this initial early access release. If the actual software devs on this project didn't know about these bugs, then there are SERIOUS structural issues in your development workflow ranging from lack of unit tests for the features you are developing to lack of sufficient QA testing for features.

The more likely scenario is that some project manager (or someone in a leadership position) is pushing for a buggy release because money is running out, which is also not a great look. Whoever greenlit this initial early access release needs to check their ego(s) because this initial terrible release is gonna plague future sales, and you're now locked into the MUCH harder path of "Hello Games and No Man's Sky" where you MUST slowly build back trust over years which will be even harder on the devs of this project.

New potential customers will be (rightfully) very suspicious of buying in because of this terrible initial impression and due to the spotty previous record of games by this development team, it's going to be a very long slog...

We have to face them. it will sink for a time, but we will get back stronger and -for sure- better prepared.

Although I am glad for some transparency and your commitment to fix this, THIS is what kills games on Steam. Releasing a completely broken product, resulting in a massive wave of negative reviews, which ultimately leads to refunds and no new sales. You killed it before it even had a chance to live.
