Knight Armor Pierce and Armor Break interaction
Do these synergize? Armor break states that it "Destroys 1 point of armor for every X points of DMG in attack". But does that mean the damage stated on the skill, or actual damage dealt? I suspect it's actual damage dealt, but I can't be sure.

Good question. I was under the assumption the armor tearing is derived from base damage

It's possible to slow the game down and select the unit being attacked to see which one it is, by how much armor a 1 hit removes. if the rate is constant with the same amount of armor being removed each hit, then it depends on base damage. If armor tearing per hit slowly increase as the enemy is being damaged then armor tearing is derived from effective damage

I suppose I could test it.

Pretty sure the effect of armor break is dependent on the base damage of the attack. A pretty easy way to test this is fight Eztli-Tenoch's Right Hand in New Game+ on max difficulty. It spawns with some ridiculous amount of armor, but a boost level 1 Knight can still destroy the armor, even though all its attacks are too weak to get through the armor and actually deal damage.

Just tested it myself. A 1584.8 damage attack against 1302 armor destroyed 285 armor. That same attack, against 17300 armor, destroyed 286 armor. So Armor Break is dependent on the base damage of the attack. Armor Pierce will not help you break armor faster.

That is really good to know. Thank you!
