I get this bug a few times, but when I use my logitech gamepad I get the bug literally all the time making it impossible to use the gamepad. I tried using the logitech option in the menu instead of the default but it didn't help.

Now, I would have been fine making the game not recognize my gamepad at all and using my own third party gamepad program, but the game will always recognize my gamepad and interpret my gamepad actions, and crashing the game.

Kinda feels like the worst situation for my gamepad that I have encountered in a very long time :(
