I can't complete tutorial with normal Steam controller inputs.

When the tutorial tells you to press down and A to select the berserker, nothing happens. Same in the second battle. I was able to bypass by holding the steam button and selecting with mouse cursor.

The button icons are also inaccurate. In story (big avatars talking plague), the stick moves you through dialog. In battle, the left pad moves you but the icon still shows the stick. (This was very confusing and I thought the game was broken and only figured it out when I started mashing inputs.) I swapped these two (because controlling the mouse with the stick is unfun) and now it shows the pad icon for battle dialog (but stick moves through dialog).
