Oh my. Thank you for the quick reply!
So right now I'm playing Steam DQ1 2.0.4

My operating system is windows 8.

And opening the game it causes a huge lag not letting my steam respond at all. Playing any battles that were fine a few days ago have been really slow and doing anything (going into a town or anything like that) Takes much longer than it did a few days ago. It just feels like the whole game is slower.

The issues seem to be a bit better now. I did a deep cleaning on my PC and cleared all cookies and such. But it still has a noticeable lag whenever another wave is coming in. The game freezes for a bit.

I have no trouble with the game... but i'm win 7... I dont know if it could be a reason. ;)

Hey Aven, not sure what could be going on, I just uploaded version 2.0.4c, is that any better?

If not, I'm about to push an alternate build later tonight for the benefit of Windows XP users that uses OpenGL rather than ANGLE as the rendering system. If your drivers work with it, you might try this version and see if it runs better? When it's pushed, you'll have a new popup on start that says "Play Deluxe" and "Play Deluxe (with OpenGL)"

@AvenDoram -- just finished pushing the latest changes. Let me know if you see them.

I see them! I'm updating now and I'll try out the other deluxe version. See if it's any better.
