Is Sociopath viable for DW/DSOD
I recently looked around at DW and DSOD builds and an intriguing one I found was sociopath utilizing an AP judge as the secondary and a tempest 21 AR. I swapped out the tempest 21 AR for the lions roar rifle since it has better everything except for reload speed which I personally can live without.

The build seems to revolve around one kill at medium-close range gives you back all of your armor since it uses a ballistic vest (I have 72 armor) and you can regenerate 60 armor a kill. Another big part of the build is the 75% chance to spread panic throughout the swats when I kill one which interrupts them and allows me to pick some off.

The build uses jokers, the usual things you have in joker:
Forced friendship: Basic
Joker: Basic
Confident: Aced
Partners in Crime: Aced
Hostage Taker: Aced
This adds some extra survivability and helps to draw swats towards my jokers instead of my team if I understand the mechanics of suppressed and unsuppressed weapons correctly.
Enough talking about the build I might as well show what it features so I can get some true feedback on how I can change it to be better if it is viable at all.

The weapons:
Lions Roar Rifle:
CQB Barrel
The Tank Compensator
Concealment Boost
Auto Fire
Compact Laser Module
45 Degree Ironsights
Compact Profile Sight

The Lions Roar Rifle was made to keep a good balance of concealment and practicality so it still has a high stability and decent accuracy, and still allowing low blow to work well enough.

The Judge Shotgun:
AP Slug
Concealment Boost
Compact Laser Module

Its basically an AP pistol but counts as a shotgun to make use of overkill aced.

I would love some feedback on this build, my main focus here would be the skill tree because I dont play DW or DS that often right now. This means I don't entirely know what skills I should use but I have a good idea from looking around at DSOD builds.

perkdeck is one of the few dsod viable ones that isnt the usual meta slave ones ngl
I do use lions roar and judge on AP rounds with the exception of just not using shotgun skills, that little shotgun already 1shot shields and I dont think gaining 1shot heavy capabilities is useful on a gun I'd use for specials instead of non-specials units

also you still need bullseye basic because the extra armor regen on emergencies that is literally tanking a free shot for just 3 sp

personally I pick die hard than transporter basic because I dont think I'd ever used it outside achievement hunting on stealth

also I like to go with silencers because agro is a thing

In the end I go with this:
https://pd2builder.netlify.app/?s=xk3I0100c110-6V00301i0-450&p=8&a=2&t=4&d=5

100 accuracy on the judges makes it a pocket sniper with the basic silencer and the same attachments you listed; lions roar will hit stuff no matter the range with 80 accuracy and hit 23 concealment with the next attachments:
-CQB Barrel
-rami supressor
-Concealment Boost
-Auto Fire
-Compact Laser Module
-45 Degree Ironsights(+1 conceal one)
-Compact Profile Sight

Thank you for the feedback, however there's something I disagree with. Body expertise aced is actually worse than body expertise basic once you get to a higher difficulty like DW or DS, this being said I would opt to spend those 8 skill points somewhere else. I personally think that those 8 points could be better used on nine lives aced since I generally don't play OD and an extra down could be the difference between failing and successfully finishing. Next I chose to put the remaining 4 points into aggressive reload basic and the 1 remaining point into underdog basic since its more damage.

aced helps you reach the 5 bodyshot heavy kill breakpoint on that rifle in case you dont crit ever, with basic you need 8 you kinda get away with it with crits, personally, I think its a waste to go basic because at that point go for headshots already since you can achieve 100 acc and 100 stb on that rifle and you can still hit body anyways if hs is not an option since you'd pretty much save 3 bullets per crit and you need 12 bodyshots to kill a heavy without BE, at the end of the day you'd still achieve a pretty good ammo economy with a weapon that has a lot of pickup rate

this is great, btw if you wanna pump the reload even more you can get agressive reload basic for 3 sp too

I never thought about it that way but as you said the lions roar rifle has really good ammo pickup so it wouldn't hurt much to use a few extra shots as long as I keep an eye on my ammo. Generally I go for headshots as it is so keeping most of my headshot damage is probably more of a preference thing for me.

Reload speed is key, especially when you can be 2 tapped while reloading.
Anything is viable, on any difficulty. Also, here I improved upon your build:
https://pd2builder.netlify.app/?s=5g00101IkF10-5g90050xa0-452&p=8&a=6&t=4&d=5
Improvements, and why: ICTV heavilly increases your survivability. Two shot ICTV is really good. (Needs two heavy shots to break) Bullseye aced to get 85 more armor, which is enough to give protection from light units and shields. Crits against dozers, and more melee damage. If you get shot by light or shields to your health, you heal those off with the melee. Crits for additional dozer damage. Kept OVKA. If somebody dies in the middle of somewhere dangerous, either clear out the area, place a FAK or let them die.
