I am almost always at Slow personally, try to avoid Very Slow as at the point I dont see a reason to run anything but the biggest f.ck you machine gun I can build anyway.

Dont think I'm a fan of supply items adding such a variable weight, either have to build my guns super light to account for it or just end up running at very slow speed anyway if I happen to be pick something up... I only have like 3 gun builds atm anyway that even let me run under very slow anyway.

I can see why Mods add weight, though if I cared more it would be a bummer because running mods makes things more fun. Then again I already have to force myself to use anything besides Hoarder/Lucky Penny. They feel pretty ridiculous because youre not actually trading away kill power to use them, just the QoL of lighter equip load and being able to walk more than 5 feet without having to pick something up.

Current loadout at rank 4 is a decently light caustic magnum AR. Long range feels nice for shooting across big gaps like enemies on platforms or keeping your distance vs a boss. Magnum isnt very impressive but is still more convenient than I expected. Caustic because popping riot shields and snails is nice QoL.

As ridiculously good as Armor Piercing was I got tired of hammering the hell out of my shoot button so switching to a 3 round burst feels great. My only other current option for non semi-auto pierce is too heavy.

Always carry a knife thats big enough to reflect a horizontal Snail shot when crouching, .4kg is my lightest one of those atm with the Corvo. For an anti-boss gun I just use Mew Orange receiver + Spec Ops barrel + Hollow Points. Technically a shotgun but basically a better sniper.
