To those using the "extended shareware" version
We're still receiving crash report of the older version which is now obsolete (6443). It take steam about 500k of patch and about 30 sec to get the new version and most of you should run on the latest and greatest.

We would not want to finger point anyone, the game doesn't have any DRM and we like it like that. But please have the decency not to come here on our forum saying the game crash on start if you copied the game from a torrent.

Not only does this divert our effort in supporting legitimate users who can't play the game because of video drivers, but it also prevent us from knowning where the real problems come from.

A lot and i mean a LOT of crash reports that come through our crash reporter are not reports that should happen during a normal installation (ie: through steam).

To all our paying customers/fan/backers, don't worry we're working on it, we're gonna get it running or at least give you a workaround asap.

thanks you for your patience.

Does the in-game crash reporter work for a BSOD? Because thats the only real problem I've had.

People who don't support games like this for a whopping $15 but still shell out $60 +$30 +$30 +$10 infinitum for utter garbage and map-packs/dlc make me shake my head at the current state of the gaming public.

to give an idea, in the last 12h (since i posted this), we received a little over 100 crash reports from the 6454 revision, and about 400 about the older one with a crasg on startup that imply they didn't installed it properly

The BSOD may not be the softwares fault. If you do not know how to read a BSOD dump file I suggest you download some form of BSOD viewer that will give you a gui to read where your machine fell over. You can also check your event viewer to see if an exception is caught in there. :shodan:

yeah seriously, if you torrent a game, don't be dumb and ask the developers for help for their product you didn't pay for. the supidity hurts my brain.
