Feedback to Devs
After playing solo and local co-op for a while I noticed some unbalance aspect of the game that I wish to be fixed.

I do love the concept and art of the game, it's rare to see games like this one nowadays.
I do see the potential the game, don't get me wrong.. I'm posting this just for the good will.

Here goes...

1) Enemies that can shoot diagonally or directly to us, but we can't? really? that's not fun at all. I know some unfair disadvantage sometimes can be a challenge, but this sort of challenge just gives headache. Same as flying enemy that can go through wall to get to us, that is such a pain.

2) First game given gun should get a buff, I find my friends that playing together whom aren't good in gaming not doing well with it. My point is, makes it a bit easier to play with for beginners and maybe good for few missions before it requires upgrade.

3) Learning curve is too steep, game introduced several mechanics to players all at once sudden and require player to remember and do well with it right away at first mission... etc. jumping with holding the button, beginner seems to jump without holding down and fell to death in traps/spikes. Reloading mechanic is a bonus, it's a boost if player can do well... but dodging bullets and timing reload at the same time isn't fun at all.. Now it feels like an "unnecessary" work to do.. I ended up staring at the reloading bar more than the enemy, takes away the awareness of the surroundings.

4) Game still has bug, sometimes screen would go black.. We can still hear sound effects of us doing things, but the screen is black.. Probably some fading didn't work.

5) Shared respawn tickets? Yes, it force us to focus on staying alive... but let’s say you just want to play with someone who isn't good at gaming, just want to have fun... They'll keep dying and used up all of the tickets... in the end it just fails the mission. Doesn't matter how good you are, if there’s someone in your team that keeps dying, you will lose.

6) Animals for farming runs away too early, its fine for someone that has automatic weapons... but for beginners? not a chance... maybe this is intended design?

7) While stabbing rapidly if I want to change my facing or stabbing direction, I couldn't do that... it will lock and keep stabbing in the same way until I stop for a sec and turn then start stabbing again. Why not?

8) I don't see anything that really promotes teamwork other than using your friend to lure the enemy to turn their backs on you. I which we can just revive our friends for free right on the spot, or being able to heal our friend during mission.

9) Enemy respawn should have delay in it... or maybe shouldn't respawn at all. Having to run back and forth the same area to chase a boss down and also killing the same enemy that you just killed not long ago over and over is not fun, just... cumbersome

10) Should mission reward $$ go up when there’s more players playing together? Promotes multiplayer.

There goes my comments and feedback, as for other players who have played this game. What do you guys think? I’m I missing anything?

1) That's part of a game design, it would be too easy if you could shoot diagonally. This game isn't really like Contra; it's a different context.

2) Agreed.

3) I don't like reloading in sidescrolling games, but it seems to be integrated in the crafting system too much. There should definitely be damage bonuses if you do it correctly though.

4) Only glitches I have gotten so far are netcode desynchs, but only a couple.

5) I think the game would be too easy that way.

6) I have never really had a problem with it. It just took long to get what I wanted because everything is so random.

7) Same. They should also have some sort of cancel system with the roll, like Stab->Roll-> you interrupt the stab animation and roll away. Game is quite clunky with controls.

8) Same as 5, really. :/

9) Respawning is too fast in some cases, agreed.

10) Definitely. Material bonus too.

For me:

- I just want to see the names of the people I played with in my Recently Played tab, unless I need to activate something in the game. Some people boosted me, but there's no way to thank them because their character names aren't the same as their Steam names.

- Also, way more color customization options. I played with two other male soldiers and we all had the same brownish color outfit. This is quite arrogant for a bunch of indie developers who charge so much for the game and don't even offer simple color pallettes.

I have to force myself to like this game, playing solo isn't fun and the netcode sometimes desynchs and I can't even get on moving elevators.

Game is too expensive and offers too little content.
