This is the best melee combat video game ever made
Name one other video game with better melee dynamics.

Never played J Academy or Rune, but Mirage is a copy of Chivalry melee dynamics. And M&B Warband? You must be a bit slow. Heck, just look at some gameplay footage of M&B 2 and you would have to agree that it's a joke compared to Chivalry. That is, unless you are mentally challenged and/or have a compromised visual system.

I preffer Mirage over Chivalry because Mirage's melee system is a refined version off Chivalry.
Mount and Blade has it's issues. sure. If you however believe that Chivalry devs didn't take any inspiration from M&B, then you should probably ask yourself if you are the mentally challenged one.

J Academy and Rune are even older games which probably wouldn't hold standards today. However, my point was simply that both those games were light years ahead of it's time. And I'm pretty sure Chivalry devs played one or the other at some point.

My claim is that Chilvary melee is the best in any game ever made. If Chivalry melee combat is better than those old games you mention, then my claim stands. As far as Mirage is concerned, it can be grouped in with Chivalry, as it is made by the same devs and uses the same system (with refinements).

And I never said anything about where the devs took their inspiration, so your comment is indication that you are, in fact, mentally challenged.
