Unofficial servers will still be on, as many old online games that don't have support anymore. Its not new, Its pure logic, its how the things goes in the real world.
I think that it is sad that some folks simp (or shill?) for companies that make such disgusting moves.
It is highly unethical to sell an "online only" game that its customers risk losing access to (for whatever reason).
Especially since such information was not provided at the start.
I would ignore the ones that are hostile again unethical behavior. They are either not the brightest bunch or they do as they are paid to do (shill).
