If there was a real-time mode, I just want to say that's a lot of commands you have to map to buttons, lol
the large number of buttons are pretty intimidating at first, but the moment to moment gameplay is pretty straightforward. after both players lock in, it plays out until either player is actionable/interruptible, and you repeat.
if you think about it more like playing a regular fighting game but in super slow motion (less like turn-based chess). it's a bit easier to wrap your head around
The prediction system can be overwhelming at first, it's only accurate for a very small window of time, and can't be relied on 100% unless you know what you're opponent is going to do. It is still very helpful in determining whether say, an attack should land or not.
personally I really enjoy YOMI Hustle because it lets you do cool fighting game stuff without worrying about reaction time or command inputs.
