Steam needs to install these additional packages
hello
on first run i accepted all packages, then uninstalled:
apt purge xterm
apt autoremove
Remove: xbitmaps:amd64 (1.1.1-2.1), libutempter0:amd64 (1.2.1-2)
after that every time, when i start steam, i got this:
Steam needs to install these additional packages:
libc6:amd64 libc6:i386 libegl1:amd64 libegl1:i386 libgbm1:amd64 libgbm1:i386 libgl1-mesa-dri:amd64 libgl1-mesa-dri:i386 libgl1:amd64 libgl1:i386 xterm

Press return to proceed with the installation:

if i cancel instalation (close the window, steam is loading and game (black mesa) runs)
this happens after i uninstalled xterm and needed libraries, because i dont like xterm and i have LXterminal already installed...
if i accept instalation i seee that all packages except xterm xbitmaps and libutemper0 are already installed...
debian bullseye + lxde
how to stop this message?

Where did you install Steam from? You should take the package included in Debian.

Happy new year!

That's what you shouldn't do. Valve doesn't know much about your distribution, Debian does. You should try to get rid of what you got and just add (32 bits architecture of you didn't do yet and) apt install steam

This seemed too easy, but all I did was copy the libraries and packages Steam was trying to install and just manually installed them. I turned out that Steam was asking for my password to install the packages but never actually installed them -- hence the constant prompt every time I booted up Steam.

Sounds like the deb downloaded from Valve's website?

Yes, I downloaded it from Steam's website.

You shouldn't. Your distribution makers download the same package, but add the dependencies needed for their respective distribution.
