Linux Games broken on Steam

I'm running Fedora Linux with an AMD graphics card. All my Linux Native games on steam are suffering from horrible performance since yesterday. They are acting as if they are using software rendering and not the graphics card.
Strangely, all windows games running with proton, and non steam Linux games, run perfectly fine. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

This won't help you much, but no, never heard these symptoms. For very slow running games, running on the wrong GPU might be a cause - but that should affect Proton just as well.
