TF2 Crash on Initial Loading Screen
I'm having issues running TF2 on my Ubuntu Linux computer. It launches up and then crashes on the first loading screen. I've tried restarting my computer, reinstalling the game, checking file integrity, and changing the compatibility and launch options. I still can't get it to work.

Could you please show the output of Steam client -> help -> system info?

... and run "steam" on a terminal to watch for output when running TF2?

Mine is flatpak and "steam" just tell me to use apt to install the .deb package. :)
Wait for more info.

Why are you telling us? Do you have the same problem as OP?

No, i don't have the same problem. I just tried to see what "steam' would do on a terminal. And it did something else, rather what you anticipated.

Man, you have Proton experimental? Try last good version like 9-0.4

Need write stable.... Keep reminding that to myself.

Having the same issue, only occurs occasionally but always on second start up. Ends with me rebooting my PC and same issue on CS Source
