Can't get into TF2 servers - An issue with your computer is blocking the VAC system
On the off-chance that I accidentally get another window in-focus while joining a TF2 server, the game will crash. Upon relaunching the game, I will not be allowed in VAC secured servers.
This has been happening since I started playing the game and the solution has always been to hard-restart my PC. That's not working right now though, even after unplugging my PC.
What do I do?
Running Pop_OS, latest build.

i encounter this occasionally.
try Steam Settings > In Game > Delete Web Browser Data | reboot

don't attempt to reconnect immediately after a crash, it leaves a dangling auth token which makes VAC unhappy. wait ~5 minutes.

You run the native version of the game? Proton version propably cant join VAC servers like in CS.
